The Story of Albion

Factions

There are seven active factions in Albion, with a long history of conflicts between them:

The Royal Expeditionary Forces and the Heretics are at war, though it is more the case that the two groups will attack each other on sight rather than carrying out any sort of organized campaigns.

The Disciples of Morgana and the Keepers of Albion are also at war, and the fighting between the two groups is intensifying.

Some demons are allied or controlled by the Disciples of Morgana, others are independent. All of them are hostile when encountered.

The Undead are at war with everyone, but to date they have never gathered in huge numbers and show little interest in territory outside their own.

For hundreds of years, the Keepers of Albion were the dominant faction. Then the Heretics came, followed by the Royal Expeditionary Forces, and then the Colonists. This, coupled with the release of the Undead and the return of the Disciples of Morgana, put everything into flux.

And more recently, the resurgent Avalonians have returned, remaking the Outlands in a bid to bring their ancient kingdom of Avalon back.

It is a time of great danger, and great opportunity...
