• Our core gameplay involves conquering territories.

Transportation as part of the player-driven economy

• Realistic weight system: running around with 100kg of stones is not possible. Neither in real life, nor in Albion Online.
• There are also no teleporters everywhere, instead you have different merchant roads.
• Bringing resources from north to south will be an industry of its own.

Simple but strategic game mechanics

• We offer a simple but intense “Rock, Paper, Scissors” combat system.
• Some opponents will be easy kills. Others are extremely dangerous to how you built and equipped your character.
• Linear progression: even a high-end player will have his problems against 10 beginners.
• The territory is a strategic component in every fight.

No Zerging

• We added special game mechanics to avoid zerging.
• Your territory can not be taken away by the 200 men zerg.

No level grinding

• There are no levels that define your power in Albion Online.
• In Albion Online, your power comes only through your property.

Complex spell and item system

• Your spells are crafted on your weapons and armor.
• So what you wear is what you are.
• Each item has several hundred different combinations.

Night & day

• Not only a graphical gimmick: at nights, Demons spawn and you have to defend your village against them.

• We are currently running in a “friends & family” alpha version.
• We are planning to start several closed beta weekends in March.
• We hope to be able to release the game in Q3 this year.
